Resident Evil 3 now available: Capcom releases the launch trailer

Today Capcom released the launch trailer for the remake of Resident Evil 3, now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One e PC means Steam all over the world in digital, although for the physical version we will have to wait a few more days due to the Coronavirus emergency, with its officially postponed release. Below is the synopsis of the game:

This latest entry in the Resident Evil franchise provides a chilling conclusion to the Raccoon City saga, through the perspective of one of video game's most iconic heroines, Jill Valentine. Raccoon City and its chaotic population come to life with vivid high-definition graphics and more modern game mechanics using the RE engine, previously used for acclaimed titles such as Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 7 biohazard and Devil May Cry 5. The narrative Resident Evil 3 interrupts the events of the previous Resident Evil 2 chapter released last year, putting fans in the shoes of STARS.

In Resident Evil 3 we see Jill Valentine trying to follow her desperate escape from a city torn from the inside by zombies and other terrifying figures. Blocking his path is the famous Nemesis, a seemingly unstoppable and brutally intelligent bio-weapon, as well as one of the most nominated adversaries in the series. Players can also experience a slice of Raccoon City's chaos with unexpected ally Carlos Oliveira, a member of the Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasures Service (UBCS) who is on a mission to evacuate civilians.

Coinciding with the game's release, a totally free update for Resident Evil Resistance, a 1vs4 online survival horror included in Resident Evil 3. The update will add the playable character Jill Valentine from the next 17th April. We will certainly know more in the near future.
