September, 1998 - Raccoon City, deaf to the events of the survivors of the massacre of the previous chapter, who had tried to warn the city administration about the aberrant experiments of the Umbrella Corporation, finds itself in the throes of a real siege by of a large series of mutant monsters and zombies in search of human prey.
In this context, the adventures of the two protagonists travel parallel and intertwine: Claire Redfield (sister of Chris Redfield, one of the protagonists of the first Resident Evil, who came to visit him in the city) and Leon Scott Kennedy, a new policeman assigned to the local station of police, the RPD (Raccoon City Police Department), during his unfortunate first day of work.
