One of the most exciting moments we were able to witness during the event of the State of Play, carried out yesterday, it was the reveal of the second and new expansion of the title by Remedy, Control. The additional content, renamed Awe, not only will it be available in a very short time (it will be released on August 27) thus raising the hype in no time, but it will also propose the arrival of a character included in the DLC dear to many fans of Microsoft products and the software house in general. For those who have not seen the film or read our article, the writer Alan Wake, protagonist of the homonymous title released on Xbox 360 first and later also on PC, will make its appearance in the latest production of Remedy Enterainmente. This sort of "crossover" between the two universes has given birth to something that has been defined as "Remedy Connected Universe" which, after a few hours from the video, was even confirmed by the software house itself.
To declare what was said was Sam Lake, the creative director who announced that the development team is already working on the creation of a new title set in the same universe between Control and Alan Wake. In the Awe expansion we will get to know some dark events that occurred during the period of the well-known writer's stay in the town of Bright Falls and that, precisely the experience lived in first person by the writer, is now at the center of an investigation by the Federal Bureau.
We were all aware that the two titles had a lot in common, but that Remedy wanted to create a real Remedy Connected Universe within this ecosystem is definitely an unexpected surprise.
