It recently emerged that the creative director of Control, Sam lake, would be working on a "new story". The news was spread by Lake himself via a tweet. Will we be faced with a project other than Control? Maybe something about the beloved Alan Wake? Or will it be a completely new IP? At the moment they are only guesses, since we have no definite news nor from the same Lake that gives Remedy, but from the recent post we can assume that it will almost certainly be a completely new project. After all, the creative director pointed out in the tweet that he is working on a "new story".
Considering Remedy's past with the sequels, the idea that the studio intends to move towards new IPs, also to work on new types of experiences, is not entirely excluded.
