    Ratchet and Clank, the protagonist duo of the homonymous series, appeared in an animated short. In fact, yesterday Ratchet and Clank Life of Pie appeared in the catalog of a Canadian streaming platform called Crave TV. We are talking, in fact, of an animated short lasting 23 minutes. A product, in fact, arrived by surprise, without any marketing or advertising campaign. The story is related to Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, the title of which arrived two days ago the announcement containing the exclusive release date on PlayStation 5 (let's talk about it better here).



    Let us dwell, however, on the plot of Ratchet and Clank Life of Pie. The entire original cast of the series appears in the work and tells a new adventure that sees the protagonists grappling with the evil plans of the Dr. Nefarious, the sworn enemy of the Lombax and the little robot. He managed to get his hands on Polarizer, a contraption capable of opening interdimensional portals and, if used incorrectly or by the wrong person, is capable of destroying the Universe. In short, a nice nut to crack for the duo you give 2002 made us have fun and dream with its beautiful platformers.

    We remember, however, that this is not the first time that Ratchet and Clank have left their videogame universe to explore others. In fact, from the series, several comics and a movie have been taken. Specifically, the between series of comics inspired by the adventures of the two are three: the first, The Adventures of Captain Starshield, was only published online and featured the video game character Ratchet: Gladiator; the second, on the other hand, is a series consisting of six numbers and bears the same name as the two protagonists; finally, the third, not a comic but a manga, was released in Japan and is called Ratchet & Clank: Bang Bang Bang! Critical Danger of the Galaxy Legend. The film, on the other hand, was released on June 26, 2016 and bears the name of the series from which it was based.



    UPDATE: PlayStation Lifestyle colleagues have had the opportunity to receive clarifications from Sony regarding this new title, and then confirm that it is not actually a sequel linked to the main series.
