Project CARS 3: CEO has in mind

Although there has never been an official or formal announcement of a possible Project CARS 3, certainly the developers of Slightly Mad Studios they have a project in mind. This time it was the CEO and founder of the studio who spoke Ian Bell, who stated that the desire at the moment is to create a kind of "spiritual successor" to Need for Speed: Shift. Here are his words during an interview:

I tell you that Project CARS 3 will be more "concentrated" ... more fun. We've gone an infinite length with Project CARS 2 and this has led to continual balance issues. We have learned a lesson and we are not going to cut back on content, we know what we need to fix.

    and again:

Project CARS 3 will be more of a sort of spiritual successor to Shift, but with everything that the public appreciated. The main focus is on having fun, and not biting into something we couldn't chew and digest well.

With these words Bell wants to tell us there's no need to overdo it, and not to try to exceed limits or go beyond the possibilities, perhaps by implementing a sort of "back-to-basics" policy. The second iteration of the series has got a large slice of fans, who in any case apparently will have to wait a long time before seeing this new title arrive, also because the studio is currently working on Project CARS Pro dedicated to professional pilots, but also on a project that includes the Fast & Furious franchise.
