PlayStation VR 2: new patents reveal body tracking and other details

According to two new patents recently filed by Sony, it seems the probable PlayStation VR 2 su PS5 it will have some very interesting features. Already a few days ago we had the opportunity to see a tech demo that showed the potential and functions of the prototype of the viewer, with the presence of an excellent finger detection system. Today's patents refer to two other possible and intriguing features for the PlayStation VR 2, namely the reduction of motion sickness and full body tracking, tracking the movements of the whole body.

The latter, as you can see from the image at the bottom of the news, would obtain the data thanks to five motion sensors, positioned on the feet, controller and headset itself. As for motion sickness, there should be sensors that deal with the management of the angle of view and acceleration, in order to reduce the annoyance caused by it as much as possible. All this obviously has not yet been confirmed by the company, which has yet to reveal its plans for the exploitation of virtual reality on PlayStation 5. However, these are certainly interesting features, which would make the VR experience on Sony consoles even more immersive, as well as suitable for a larger number of people.
