The PlayStation VR di Sony, although it is an excellent product that can also sell a good number of units, today it still remains a niche product.



    Today we want to show you one tech demo, published by some Sony researchers, about the PlayStation VR 2. The video in question, made by Kazuyuki Arimatsu e Hideki Mori, shows the potential and some functions of the prototype of PS VR 2. The technology uses a very high detection system that allows you to track every single movement of the fingers of a hand with extreme precision. Thanks to this device we can therefore see perfectly functional hands, capable of interacting with practically any type of surface and grasping various objects with different degrees of pressure based on the force we use in each single finger. Furthermore, Sony has not used any type of external sensor, making this new technology truly pioneering.



    We all know that the first model of PS VR will be compatible with the new PlayStation 5, however, Sony knows that the technology used in the past could be too outdated, which is why the Japanese company is looking for a new quality standard that, at least for the moment, seems truly futuristic.
