The news of the imminent closure of the stores of PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable e PlayStation Vita it was by now unofficial, and to make it completely official it only took a "termination date". Just a few minutes ago, via their official Twitter profile of PlayStation Universe, we learned what the online store's farewell day will be Sony. In reality, the dates are two: one the same for the PS3 and PSP consoles, another different for PS Vita. In fact, the latter will be able to enjoy a few more weeks of life, seeing the store close on date 27th August. The 2 July instead it will be up to the home console and the fantastic little portable console.
What does it all mean? As of the respective dates indicated above, users who still use the aforementioned gaming machines today they will no longer be able to purchase multimedia content or make in-game purchases. Not only that, but also codes for PSN credits can no longer be redeemed. However, who should find themselves in the situation where their portfolio is not equal to 0,00 €, can use the credit left on the most current consoles PlayStation 4 e PlayStation 5, or even on the app and website.
After about 15 years of service on PS3 and PSP, and just under 10 on PS Vita, it is normal that some infrastructures begin to "give way" to new products and more modern products. But rest assured, all the various games and content that you have purchased in the PlayStation Store of the respective consoles will remain yours and playable, even those redeemed through PS Plus.
