PlayStation 5: The June 4th event has been postponed

The presentation event of PlayStation 5, or rather the event that would have shown the numerous titles of the launch lineup and, presumably, also the aesthetics of the console with the relative price and the day of release, was officially postponed. Therefore, June 4 will no longer be the long-awaited moment for the entire console-loving videogame community Sony.

The announcement arrived via social media through the pages of Twitter ed Instagram, and surprised every insider and enthusiast above all because close to just 3 days from the reveal date. The reason, as you can see from the post, has not been properly praised. Sony wrote that:

The PlayStation 5 presentation event scheduled for June 4th has been postponed. We understand that all gamers in the world are excited to discover and see PS5 games, but we don't think this is the right time to celebrate it; we will therefore take a step back by allowing other much more important events to be heard.

Although it has not been openly said, the message behind these words could hide the delicate American situation that is being experienced these days due to the riots following George Floyd's murder. Stay tuned to find out about the new upcoming PlayStation 5 launch date.
