PlayStation 5: Sony unveils new details on the event of 11 June

The event dedicated to the showcase of the games of PlayStation 5, the new console of Sony, finally has a new date: Thursday 11 June. To announce it is obviously Sony which has also decided to provide some more details on the event and its resolution, through a special press release. As it is possible to read in the post published on the PlayStation Blog, the conference will be pre-recorded at a resolution of 1080p to 30 frames per second.

Now that the event has been confirmed for June 11th, I wanted to add that this pre-recorded show will be broadcast at 1080p and 30fps. This facilitated the event production process at a time when a large part of our team and developers work from home.

This obviously does not mean that this will be the maximum resolution in which it will be possible to see the event, since it will be republished on YouTube 4K. Sony also advised watching the event using a good pair of headphones, since, according to the company, the PlayStation 5 event will boast magnificent audio.

If possible, we recommend that you watch while wearing a pair of headphones - the event contains great audio that may be more difficult to enjoy if played through the speakers of your phone or laptop.

We remind you that you can follow the event with us live on our Facebook page, on that of k or on our Twitch channel.
