Playstation 5: Sony finally unveils the interface and dashboard!

Finally here we are. After the rumors that have taken place in recent months, and after the very short sequences glimpsed during the presentation event of PlayStation 5, Sony Interactive Entertainment he finally has officially presented the Playstation 5 interface, together with all the elements that will make up the dashboard of the new console. Sony Senior Vice President, Hideaki Nishino, through PlayStation Blog allowed us to take a first look at the different cards that will make up the new interface of PlayStation 5 which, as claimed by recent rumors, will be in continuity with the dashboard of the previous one PlayStation 4.

However, the improvements introduced are immediately visible. Unlike PlayStation 4, in fact, the new user interface will be characterized by the presence of a brand new one control Center, an element that will allow immediate access to many of the system options thanks to the press of a single button, all without leaving the running game. Another important introduction to this new PlayStation 5 dashboard is the Activities. This feature will allow us to jump to specific parts of the title, so as to complete individual objectives of the game. In fact, if we want to replay a certain level of a title, we can easily reach it from the menu avoiding the previous uploads. There will therefore be summary screens that can be recalled thanks to the Control Center, which will allow us to have access to all the different "game opportunities "that will be proposed by the individual titles of this next-gen of the new Sony console. What is immediately striking about this new dashboard is the ability to navigate the menus without having to pause the title we are playing: we can in fact activate the chat with our friends, invite them to play in our game, but also launch a second title much faster than what happened on PlayStation 4.

But these are not the only innovations introduced. Sony has indeed revealed that the PlayStation 5 will also offer offline help to players, giving advice and information on the various titles: however, this will be a feature exclusively reserved for PlayStation Plus subscribers. In addition, the sharing function of Playstation 5 will capture images and videos up to 4K, allowing you to send screenshots to friends who have not yet reached a certain point in the game, to help them. However, the console will automatically insert a spoiler warning set by the developers. We therefore can't wait to have the new console in our hands, starting next November 19th, to be able to explore this new dashboard and try all these new features, which promise a much faster and more reactive menu navigation. , in addition to the ability to use several features of the console at the same time.
