Through a tweet launched from their official Twitter profile, Sony announced to players around the world that More PlayStation 5 units will be available soon at retailers. This will happen before the end of the year, thus giving more hope to all those who dream of having a PS5 in their hands by next Christmas.
This is the official message of the Japanese company addressed to players all over the world, thanking them for their "biggest console launch ever":
We want to thank gamers around the world for making the PS5 launch our biggest console launch ever. Demand for PS5 is unprecedented, so we wanted to confirm that more PS5 inventory will arrive at retailers by the end of the year - stay in touch with your local retailers.
PlayStation 5 has been available since last November 12 in the US and UK, while in Europe it has been since 19 November. At the bottom of the news is the official Sony tweet in the original language. Sony recently updated the FAQ section dedicated to its new console, in order to answer every question of the players. If you are among those who are hoping they can own a PlayStation 5 that is not white in color, however, you will have to make up your mind at the moment: Sony hasn't planned any other colorways of its next-gen console, at least not in the short term, as specified in the frequently asked questions on the PlayStation Blog: "At the time of launch, no other colors or designs will be available for the PS5 console models".
