Playstation 5: here is the list of all the improvements of the individual games

The potential of PlayStation 5, new license plate console Sony arriving in our country on the day of 19st November, they are really interesting. We are not only talking about the arrival of new titles dedicated to the next generation, but also about news regarding the titles already present in the catalog of PlayStation 4, which may be soon lived under a completely renewed and optimized perspective. The presence of much more computing power, as well as an incredibly fast SSD, allows developers to update their works to allow them to receive new life blood. This is specifically guaranteed by the complete - or almost - PlayStation 5 backward compatibility towards the current generation, recently confirmed as detailed in the following text. However, not all games will receive real new dedicated editions to the new platform, be it new content or graphic and technical improvements. There are also several titles that will guarantee a free copy on the new console for those who already own the same work on the current platform, but there is no shortage of developers who have decided to apply some costs for the passage.

By analyzing in detail each of the individual cases, or at least those of which we currently know more precise details, we have drawn up one list containing currently confirmed upgrade information for each of the games coming to the new console. We obviously remain in most cases waiting to discover new details on the works in question, as well as on those for which a real version has not yet been announced, and which will therefore benefit only from the basic advantages offered by the platform.

• Assassin's Creed Valhalla - The upgrade for PlayStation 5 will be free for owners of the title on the current generation, will run in 4K at 60 FPS on the console.
• Atelier Ryza 2 - The new version will be free for those who already own it on the current generation, we look forward to discovering the performance improvements.
• Atomic Heart - The title will present itself with visibly reduced loads and new possibilities with regard to the graphics sector, however we do not have precise details on the performance.
• Balan wonderworld - The game will take advantage of some features of the Dualsense and will be free for those who purchase it on PlayStation 4.
• Borderlands 3 - Since the debut of the new console, the game will be usable in co-op with split-screen up to 4 players, also supporting 4K at 60 FPS, it will also be made free for those who already own a copy for the current Sony console.
• Bugsnax - On PlayStation 5 the game will run in 4K at 60 FPS, and it is likely that the upgrade will be free for those who own the title on the current generation.
• Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - The title will support the console's audio features and Dualsense feedback, will offer support up to 120 FPS, will also run in 4K at 60 FPS with Ray Tracing. To secure a copy for the next generation it is necessary to obtain a cross-gen bundle with a higher cost than the basic version.
• Chorus - On PlayStation 5 the title will run in 4K at 60 FPS with Ray Tracing. There is no news yet for a possible free upgrade from PlayStation 4.
• Control - Only the owners of the Ultimate Edition will be entitled to the free upgrade of the game, but the improvements that will be made are not yet known.
• cyberpunk 2077 - Also in this case, owners of the game on the current generation will be able to receive the upgrade to the PS5 version for free, but we do not know what the performance improvements will be.
• Dead by Daylight - The upgrade to the next-gen version will be free for owners of the title on the current generation and some improvements are planned, even if the details have not yet been specified.
• Destiny 2 - The game will run in 4K at 60 FPS on next-gen and the upgrade will be free with the purchase of the Beyond the Light expansion.
• Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition - The PlayStation 5 version of the game will run in 4K with improved FPS, Ray Tracing and support for 3D Audio technology. To upgrade, owners of the title on PlayStation 4 will have to pay € 4,99.
• DiRT 5 - The title will run in 4K and will boast an option to reach 120 FPS. The upgrade from current to next-gen will be completely free.
• Doom Eternal - Players in possession of the title on PlayStation 4 will be able to receive the PlayStation 5 version of the game for free, which will boast several improvements not yet announced.
• Far Cry 6 - 4K and 60 FPS for the new chapter of the Ubisoft series, as well as a free upgrade for owners of the game on PlayStation 4.
• FIFA 21 - The upgrade to the next-gen will be free, but the improvements on PlayStation 5 have not yet been revealed.
• For Honor - 4K at 60 FPS with free upgrade for current-gen title owners.
• Fortnite - In the course of 2021 Epic Games will switch to Unreal Engine 5.
• God of War - A patch will introduce a performance mode capable of running the game at 60 FPS.
• Grand Theft Auto V - The game will receive major improvements over the course of 2021, but no further details have been specified.
• Guilty Gear Strive - Owners of the title on PlayStation 4 will have access to the free upgrade on PlayStation 5. The next-gen console will also boast an exclusive multiplayer mode.
• Hitman iii - The upgrade to the next-gen version of the title will be free, as long as you have purchased the game in digital version.
• Horizon 2 Forbidden West - The upgrade to the next-gen will be free for users with the PlayStation 4 copy of the game.
• Immortals Fenyx Rising - This title will also have a free upgrade to the PS5 version.
• Just Dance 2021 - The upgrade to the next-gen version of the title will be free, as long as you have purchased the game in physical version.
• Kena: Bridge of Spirits - PS4 to PS5 upgrade will be free.
• Little Nightmares 2 - Again, those who purchase the title on PlayStation 4 will be entitled to the free upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version.
• Madden NFL 21 - The new title dedicated to American football is no exception: free upgrade to the PS5 version for owners of the game on PlayStation 4.
• Maneater - Free upgrade and 4K at 60 FPS.
• Marvel's Avengers - Improved textures, Ray Tracing, other graphics enhancements and a 4K 60 FPS mode. In addition, the game supports free upgrade from PS4 to PS5.
• Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered - The remastered title from Insomniac Games will boast improved textures, Ray Tracing, a new lighting system and improved animations, but owners of the original game on PlayStation 4 will not be able to take advantage of the free upgrade.
• Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales - Free upgrade from PS4 to PS5 available.
• Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom - It will run in 4K at 120 FPS and owners of the game on PS4 will receive the free update on next-gen.
• Mortal Kombat 11 - The upgrade will be free for anyone who purchased the game on PlayStation 4.
• NBA 2K21 - No upgrade: to play the title on next-gen it will be necessary to purchase it again.
• Observer: System Redux - 4K at 60 FPS, but still no details regarding the upgrade to PS5.
• Outriders - The upgrade from PS4 to PS5 will be completely free.
• Overcooked: All You Can Eat - Improved graphics and 4K at 60 FPS.
• Planet Coaster - The upgrade from PS4 to PS5 will be free, but it will not be possible to transfer your data to the next-gen console.
• Poker Club - The upgrade will be free for owners of the game on PlayStation 4.
• Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 - PS4 to PS5 upgrade will be free.
• LAUGH 4 - It will run in 4K at 60 FPS and will support the free upgrade, but only until April 30, 2021.
• Riders republic - The game will run at 60 FPS and will support free upgrade.
• Sackboy: A Big Adventure - The upgrade to the next-gen will be free for users with the PlayStation 4 copy of the game.
• Scarlet nexus - 4K at 60 FPS with free upgrade for current-gen title owners.
• The Elder Scrolls Online - Free upgrade confirmed on next-gen.
• The Pathless - Free upgrade from PS4 to PS5.
• The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Ray Tracing, various technical improvements and free upgrade.
• Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - The title will run in 4K at 120 FPS and will grant a free upgrade to owners of the game on PS4.
• Watch Dogs: Legion - Will run in 4K at 30 FPS with Ray Tracing Active. Free upgrade confirmed.
• WRC 9 - Free upgrade and 4K at 60 FPS.
• Yakuza: Like a Dragon - The game will run in 4K at 60 FPS and will support the free upgrade, but only for those who own the digital copy of the title.
