To the team of Starbreeze studios, former developer of the first Pay day, joins today too Koch Media who will collaborate to give birth to the third installment of the most famous robbery-themed series in the world of video games, namely PayDay 3. The Starbreeze games have had a huge following over the years with more than 28 million copies sold and with substantial revenues for the production house. With the occasion of the collaboration between the two companies, Starbreeze Studios has therefore announced a official launch window for the title, with a generic period that stands at 2023. We are thrilled to announce this exclusive long-term (of) PayDay 3 co-publishing agreement with Koch Media who shares our passion for the PayDay franchise and “Games as a service” model. In addition to ensuring continued development, this agreement ensures PayDay 3's global release and marketing efforts throughout the game's entire lifecycle. We now have a solid foundation for a successful (product) launch
PayDay 3 will therefore take the path of game as a service, that is to say that of an initial product that will be launched on the market, to then be supported and considerably expanded over time. Although to a lesser extent, already the predecessor, PayDay 2 which had been released in 2013, had tried a similar strategy, releasing over time a good number of additional contents which in 2017 were crowned by the version Ultimate of the product. Despite the years on his shoulders, therefore, the community of the second chapter of the series remains quite active even today, proving that to obtain a valid game you need above all a winning and well-conceived playful formula as well as the support of the developers. Formula and support that we hope will also be present in this third installment of the series.
