People Can Fly will release the first official patch of Outriders on all platforms: PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X / S e Xbox One. This will introduce in the game (find our review here) several updates, also taking care to definitively solve the problems that plagued the work in the first days after launch, including the inability to use cross-play correctly.
So let's see together what are all the changes that will be made in the first official Outriders patch:
- Il Cross-play between PC and PlayStation it is now possible
- Il Cross-play between Xbox and PC / PlayStation it will be disabled for now until the update arrives on Xbox (there has been a small delay), but will be completely restored as soon as the update is live for all players
- Improvements to general stability for matchmaking
- Resolution of multiple crashes, from occasional to systematic ones
- Fixed HUD disappearing issue
- Fixed bugs that prevent players from respawning in multiplayer Expeditions
- Fixed issue that stopped players or caused them to fall out of the world
- The matchmaking will be "Closed" by default and no longer "Open", but it can be re-enabled manually, to solve various problems and increase the speed of the system
- Many minor fixes and improvements
- On PC the GPU will be used correctly, which it should also completely solve the stuttering phenomena according to the different DirectX11 and DirectX12 libraries
In general, these are news aimed mainly at solving the problems that have plagued the experience, therefore not large content updates, for which we will probably still have to wait. In any case, players who are enjoying the work and who want to start playing it will be able to proceed with much more ease from tonight, with far fewer bugs hindering their sessions.
