Through a message spread on their social profiles, the boys of People Can Fly have announced the postponement of their new title, Outriders. The postponement in the release date of the sci-fi shooter, which was originally scheduled for February 2, will serve to give the Polish software house more time to complete the development of the title, and arrive at its release in the best possible conditions. It therefore appears that the storm cyberpunk 2077 has in some way marked the market, making the development houses reflect on the actual state of work of their products. The new release date for Outriders is set for April 1, 2021.

We believe it is important that players can try out a new IP like Outriders. We want to make sure you can decide for yourself if ours is a game you might want to pre-order, buy at launch, or buy later.
However, the players will not be left empty handed. The software house also promised the arrival of a free demo which, from 25 February, will allow all fans of the genre to "try the first hours of the game with all four character classes, both in singleplayer and cooperative". This demo will give players the chance to get an idea of what the finished product will look like, as well as render usable all the contents present in the first hours of the game. Not only that, whoever decides to buy the title upon release next April will have the opportunity to retrieve the demo save data, so as to continue the adventure begun.
An excellent move, which will keep users busy by giving the software house time to update and improve Outriders, a shooter that will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC. We just have to wait for February to get our hands on this first taste of this multiplayer game, waiting for the arrival of the complete product.
