It would seem that the problems on Outriders, new cooperative third-person shooter People Can Fly e Square Enix, have not been resolved completely. In addition to the various critical issues reported by users on day one (and not only), which did not allow players to access the title (due to offline servers), in the past few hours a bug would have emerged that would make all your in-game progression in vain.
As reported by users on the game's social pages the new issue would wipe out player inventories, not only on consoles (PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S) but also on PC. In the last few hours, several players, who have embarked on their Outriders adventure (totaling more than 50 hours of gameplay), have lost all their equipment, while others continue to report problems during the matchmaking phase.
Although at the moment there has been no official response from the Polish software house (or Square Enix) on the subject, the senior community manager of People Can Fly, Toby Palm, he reassured on reddit that the team is working hard to stabilize the servers and to find a solution to address this inventory loss issue. Here are his words:
We are still trying to figure out how to act, whether the best way is a one-to-one customer service method (which could be more accurate, but would take much longer and may not be feasible if there are many cases), or if we are able (as done previously) to perform a mass restore event via our backend.
Waiting to find out more about the story, since the game demo was also affected by this bug, Outriders is already available for purchase on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PC and Google Stadia.
