In the course of Game Developers Conference 2019, the software house Oddworld Inhabitants showed a new trailer, made entirely in CGI, of the expected Oddworld: Soulstorm, new chapter of the saga announced in 2016. Still no details neither on the gameplay nor on the possible launch date of the title. The platforms on which the game will be released have not yet been confirmed. The only details that emerged are those related to the plot: we know that the title is to be considered as a remake of Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus, but with a different story. The sequel to Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty will in fact bring Abe and his companions to face a new threat. Oddworld: Soulstorm also promises gameplay enriched with new mechanics.
