After being available for just over a year, it appears that Oculus Quest it may be out again after its alleged cancellation. Talking with UploadVR, a sales representative of the UK said the device has reached the "end of its life cycle"And that no more shipments will arrive. It will likely give way to a new, improved version rather than mean the complete disappearance of the standalone headset - the project in question sold well and was regularly sold out at retailers well before its apparent discontinuation.

In replacement of the Oculus Connect conference, the name change came when the same Oculus Research has been renamed to Facebook Reality Labs a few days ago. In addition to its standalone capabilities, the Oculus Quest can also function as a replacement for theOculus Rift once connected to a PC via Oculus Link.
