Obsidian Entertainment is working on 6 new projects, but not on Fallout

Obsidian Entertainment, according to what is rumored on the website of ResetEra, is currently working on six new different projects. Unfortunately, this does not mean that a possible new episode in the saga of Fallout developed by the talented team could arrive in a short time. The software house in fact, despite being committed to these titles with only 250 employees, seems to be totally focused on their realization, and according to the rumors reported on the well-known forum, we will not be returning to the waste land very soon.

The team's schedule therefore seems to be very busy, and to see the much requested by the fans Fallout: New Vegas 2 it will take some time. In fact, Obsidian Entertainment has the second DLC from The Outer Worlds, supervised by Megan Starks. Branon Adler is devoting himself to an already established project that is probably not a new chapter of Fallout, Adam Brennecke and his group who are dealing with Grounded, and finally Chris Parker and the rest of the team are focused on avowed. But that's not all: Tim Caim and Leonard Boyarsky they are dealing with an as yet unannounced title, which could be The Outer Worlds 2 or something completely new while Josh Wawyer works on his Project Missouri. Recently, to requests on social networks regarding the arrival of a new Fallout, the developers had responded with a smiley very doubtful, which basically emulates a person who shrugs. The message in question would confirm nothing, however it suggests that the company does not have a ready answer at present, or maybe something could be in the pipeline, since as we said before we are experiencing a period of profound change for the saga.

At the moment, therefore, it seems that Obsidian is betting everything on these six new projects, and only later could he devote himself to Fallout again. So we just have to wait for more news, following with interest the works of the Californian house.
