Nioh 2: announced the release date of the DLC

Today it was announced through a release on the blog dedicated to consoles Sony the arrival of the according to DLC for action role play Nioh 2, released exclusively for PlayStation 4 last March. The downloadable content “Obscurity in the Capital” will be released on October 15th and will contain, in addition to an original story that will enrich and expand even more the events of the title developed by the boys of Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo, also new armor and an exclusive weapon for your character, along with many new Yokai, fearsome boss battles and lots of news regarding abilities, Ninjutsu, Guardian Spirits, Soul Cores and Onmyo Magic.

To solve the mystery linked to the origin of the Sohayamaru, the protagonist must travel to the city of Kyoto. Upon arriving at the scene, he discovers an old box inside a shrine. After inspecting the worn object, the Sohayamaru shines again and the protagonist is dragged back in time to the Heian period, in an ancient version of the capital.

Although "Heian" means peace and harmony, during this time the city of Kyoto was ravaged by hordes of nefarious Yokai. However, many heroes served to oppose the evil that was rampant in the capital. Among them we find the most famous demon hunters and the most powerful wizard in history, engaged in the fight against the Yokai alongside colleagues and students. Our protagonist then decides to join these heroes on a mission to stop the destruction caused by the hordes of Yokai; meanwhile, the clues linking the present to an even more remote era are becoming more and more evident.

After the excellent response of the first DLC, "The Disciple of Tengu“, Nioh 2 is preparing to receive its second expansion, which is sure to really test even the most trained of players. So we can't wait to get our hands on the Dark in the Capital DLC, coming on October 15th.
