The console released in 2006 in fact achieved the sensational result of 101 million of units sold in its 7 year life span. The numbers are from Switch since in less than 4 years the hybrid released in 2017 is already quite close to the 100 million threshold.
Furukawa argues that the credit is to be assigned to the exclusives of Nintendo switch, citing for example Animal Crossing: New Horizon, which in less than a year has sold over 30 million copies. Of course, the president of Nintendo also mentioned other titles that he thinks have contributed to the success of the console, such as the Super Mario game series, Pokémon Sword & Shield e Ring Fit Adventure. The speech is clear, therefore, Nintendo will always aim to offer its users exclusive and original products, as long as it also reduces the number of productions for the benefit of higher quality.

The game will catapult the player into frantic battles, in single player or cooperative, against dozens of different monsters, offering a layered tactical combat system that has always characterized the long-running Japanese series.
