If you are playing New super Luigi U and you are wondering if the adventure dedicated to the faithful companion of Super Mario can be played with characters other than the faithful companion of Super Mario, know that the answer is: Ni.

Ni, because that idiotic advertisement that I personally HATE says so, but also because i alternate characters are only 2 and they don't add any extra elements to the game (apart from the look of the little man jumping on the screen).

Having made the necessary premise, let's see how to unlock alternate characters with which to play the levels of New Super Luigi U.

Nabbit: if you want to play as Nabbit just hold NL in the level selection screen. You will return to the character of Luigi the first time you die or immediately after completing the level.

Your Mii: in New Super Luigi U there is also the possibility to use your Mii as a playable character. To do this you need to hold ZL in the final "Star Road" level.
