Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remaster will be released in November according to a leak

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is a car racing video game published by Electronic Arts and developed by Criterion Games and Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment as regards the part relating to the competition settings. The game was released in October 2010 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and later also on iPhone iPad. Back then the video game had had a good success and had earned a prominent place in the sales charts and among the reviews of experts and gamers. Since last June, rumors have started circulating that EA should have released a remaster of the title in version PC, console (but it is not yet clear if old generation, new or cross-gen) and even Nintendo Switch. The title originally presented a plot that had a sort of return to origins, that is to illegal racing on dream cars, but with an important difference from the previous chapters: you could in fact choose whether to be an outlaw driver or a policeman, just like in Hot Pursuit 2 and another related game, The Gateway: Black Monday, released on PlayStation 2 now far 2002.

Apparently, a list of Amazon UK- which was then promptly deleted - appears to have mistakenly revealed a release date for Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, the November 13 2020. The same list didn't mention next-gen consoles, but some outlets have announced the video game as available for Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. It is naturally too premature to speak of these rumors as definitive news, and we clearly urge you to take this information as mere rumors, pending possible announcements from EA itself.
