Here is another very complete guide that will allow you to unlock several bonus players in NBA Jam.

Play as Colin Cowherd and Michelle Beadle (ESPN SportsNation)
Choose the "Play Now" mode. Enter "ESP"as initials for player 1 and"MSN"as initials for player 2. If you entered the code correctly you will hear a confirmation sound in the team selection screen. Then press Start in the team selection screen to find these 2 players.

Play like Mark Turmell (developer) and Tim Kitzrow (announcer)
Choose the "Play Now" mode. Enter "MJT"as initials for player 1. If you entered the code correctly you will hear a confirmation sound in the team selection screen. Then press Start in the team selection screen to find these 2 players.

Play as the NBA mascots
