Developed by the software house well known especially for its video games on two wheels, Milestone, here we are with MotoGP 20: the annual appointment of the series dedicated to the much-followed world championship, and which will soon be playable on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One e Microsoft Windows. This year we are witnessing the introduction of some curious innovations, including the Managerial Career and the Finnish Kymiring circuit, however the line followed by this chapter is always the same as the previous one, also in terms of design. One of the main innovations introduced this year is the return of the Managerial Career, much loved especially by the nostalgic of the series: thanks to the latter it is possible to make a careful selection by hiring and firing each member of your team, starting from the figure of the personal manager and continuing with the chief engineer and the telemetry operator. These professionals provide the player with their help with regard to engagements, obtaining data on the track and the development of the bike. For veteran MotoGP enthusiasts it will also be interesting to compete in the Historical mode, where the game enables us to retrace some of the salient moments of MotoGP, putting ourselves in the shoes of riders who have written the history of this magnificent sport. By playing and winning, prizes of different rarities are unlocked, ranging from common, uncommon, rare and ultra rare: the higher the difficulty, the greater the reward! There is an additional section in the menu which introduces 3 "Fast Modes”And fun already seen in the past: Grand Prix, Time Trials and Championship.

It is an acronym that defines “Artificial Neural Network Agent”, a revolutionary system based on machine learning. The behavior of this artificial intelligence is something probably never seen before until recently: the other drivers in the race move in a way that is anything but scripted, indeed, it very often happens that these collide with each other in a random way.

It is impossible not to notice how much attention has been paid to the graphic aspect of the title, in particular as regards the details, the reflections, the animations and the models, which have been the subject of a general restyling. Also noteworthy are the improvements made to the textures, which, as usual, are improved more year after year. MotoGP 20 gives us 4 beautiful interchangeable visuals and one Photo mode with which the player has the opportunity to stop the passage of time and create perfect shots with scenarios faithfully inspired by the real ones in the background (some of the images that you can consult on this review, have been created with the Photo Mode ed. .).

Before concluding, we can see that the Unreal Engine in this case has been exploited ad hoc: MotoGP 20 holds frames per second very well, in fact, jolts or lagging rarely occur, however the lucky owners of PlayStation 4 Pro ed Xbox One X they will easily enjoy 60 FPS. While as far as uploads are concerned, they're definitely not a bolt of lightning… but they're not slow enough to be frustrating.
