Mission: Impossible 7 has been delayed and has a new release date

The waltz of postponements seems to have entered its new act, and not only in the field of video games (last on the list Deathloop). This time it's up to Mission: Impossible 7, the highly anticipated new film of the successful and famous saga with by Tom Cruise to take on the role of the protagonist. Mission: Impossible 7 has in fact been postponed, the date dedicated to the release in cinemas is now set for 27 Maggio 2022.

So to be postponed will not only be the film debut of Mission: Impossible 7 - first set for this November 19th - but also the Paramount + home release date which was scheduled for January 3 next year. No information has arrived at the moment on a new date for streaming, currently cataloged as TBA.

As Tom Cruise himself and director Christopher McQuarrie have testified over time, postponement was now in the air, with the situation created by COVID-19 which has slowed down the work of practically any production department. However, the new date did not discourage the production team and the director himself, who also had the opportunity to reveal some small background in the production phase. The situation could be much worse, and the hopes are that the new date will be fully respected.

The cast of Mission: Impossible 7 is confirmed as respectable also thanks to the new entries, where next to Cruise we find Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby, Angela Bassett, and the welcome return of Henry Czerny that we already saw in the first Mission Impossible movie. However, the cast has also been enriched with more than interesting names, such as Rob Delaney (Deadpool 2), Charles Parnell (Top Gun: Maverick), Indira varma (Game of Thrones), Mark Gatiss (Sherlock), and also Cary Elwes (SAW). The film in our country will be distributed by Paramount Pictures and Eagle Pictures.
