An exclusive contract for films and TV series was signed in the night between 30 and 31 March. An agreement between Sony e Michael Bay, the well-known director and producer, who we remember with titles such as Transformers, The Purge and the exclusive Netflix 6 Underground. He has already collaborated with the company as far back as 1995 in the first two Bad Boys as a director and in the most recent Bad boys for life as a manufacturer. These days, he was working for the new one Black Five, which however saw filming be suspended due to the Coronavirus pandemic emergency. The news of the signing took place while Sony communicated the suspension, again for the same reason, of expected films such as Morbius, Ghostbuster, A Queit Place 2 and the cinematic adaptation of the Uncharted video game.
With behind the highest grossing of the year so far thanks to Bad Boys For Life and 6 Undergound, and in second place by number of views on the Netflix Streaming platform in 2019, Michael Bay is preparing to collaborate with the giant Sony which will benefit both sides.
