The market of the video game world is dynamic and has laws that are not always easy to understand. The choices that are made sometimes make us turn up our noses, but we always try to move forward with a view to a better change for gamers and manufacturers. An example of these dynamics is given by the 4A Games, developer of the videogame saga Metro, acquired together with other companies by the Ukrainian company Embracer Group. And as these new deals continue, it looks like a new chapter is in the works.
Not a small news, especially for fans of Metro titles. This saga, which also landed on Nintendo Switch from 28 February 2020, has been a great success, bringing 4A Games under the attention of many realities operating in the gaming sector. Embracer Group did not hesitate and decided to buy the manufacturer together with forces for an ambitious project, which aims to rewrite the rules of the videogame world. The new organization has not set any limits to the point that a new chapter of the Metro saga is already being worked on, which this time will however be multiplayer. They are involved in this project Saber Games, developer of Day Z, and 4A Games. Furthermore, 4A Games is also working on a new unknown IP, of which we can't wait to discover new details.
Was a choice like this necessary? To grow you have to aim high and Embracer Group spared no expense. The investment, given the past of the studios involved, bodes well for a product that will convince longtime fans and collect new players. Perhaps this is a necessary move for relaunch a title that still has a lot to offer and that it could create a space of its own in the catalogs of next-generation consoles. Now the future is facing in that direction, where video games of the highest technical level are announced every day. 4A Games may finally have found an optimal environment for its capabilities and ambitions. The new Metro will confirm.
