Over the last few weeks there have been many rumors and indiscretions to have as a protagonist Metal Gear Solid Remake, a hypothetical remake made by Bluepoint games of the famous action-stealth title created by Hideo Kojima and developed and published by Konami. Although at the moment the rumors have not yet been confirmed, the latest rumors published by the leaker Moore's Law Is Dead, known for anticipating the unexpected announcement of God of War: Ragnarok, have rekindled the hopes of fans, who are looking forward to receiving official information on this alleged project, to the point of asking D, original voice actor by Solid Snake, to confirm or deny the rumors currently in circulation.
As reported by the insider, Bluepoint Games is currently working on the remake of Metal Gear Solid, although the game may have been in the works since three years. However, David Hyter, who voiced Snake in Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3 and spi-off episodes, before being replaced by Kiefer Sutherland in Metal Gear Solid V, said he had no information on this highly anticipated project, but that would gladly return to give voice to Solid Snake if everything turns out to be official. We remind you that at the moment it is only and exclusively unofficial rumors, given that Konami and Bluepoint Games have not yet confirmed or denied the actual development of the title. We just have to wait for further information on the project which, according to other recent rumors, could be previewed in the next The Game Awards.
I honestly don't know if the rumors are true or false. But if they turn out to be real, let the studio know that you would like to see me again in the role of Snake. I am always ready to return to Shadow Moses.
