Lots of powerful weapons, cute costumes and hyper-fashion wigs are just waiting to be unlocked.

Metal Gear Rising Revengeance hides a large amount of objects to be unlocked by achieving particular objectives in the game. Among these, in addition to the bonus skins and wigs for Raiden (er, yes, wigs) there are also the best and most powerful weapons in the game, the unique weapons.

How to unlock weapons:

    * Arma Unica: pole arm
      Effect: Ideal for crowd control and not too strong enemies.
      How to unlock: Complete level R-01: Coup d'État

    * Unique Weapon: You know
      Effect: Strikes and stuns enemies with an electric charge.
      How to unlock: Complete level R-03: Mile High

    * Unique Weapon: You know
      Effect: slow but very powerful, can be upgraded to unlock instant kills.
      How to unlock: Complete level R-04: Hostile Takeover

    * Main Weapon: High-Frequency Murasama Blade
      Effect: Similar to Raiden's standard sword, but can be upgraded further.
      How to unlock: Complete the campaign on any difficulty level.

    * Arma principale: High-Frequency Wooden Sword
      Effect: Can randomly make Cyborgs disappear, counts as a non-lethal kill.
      How to unlock: Find all the soldiers in the cartoons (refer to the collectibles guide)

    * Arma principale: High-Frequency Long Sword
      Effect: Wider attack range than Raiden's standard sword.
      How to unlock: Finish first in all VR missions (refer to the VR mission guide)

    * Primary Weapon: High-Frequency Machete
      Effect: Faster than Raiden's standard sword.
      How to unlock: Collect 10 left hands (refer to the collectibles guide)

    * Main weapon: Stun Blade
      Effect: Can randomly stun enemies.
      How to unlock: Collect all data storage devices (refer to the collectibles guide)

    * Main weapon: Armor Breaker
      Effect: Can randomly destroy the armor of enemies.
      How to unlock: Collect all left hands (refer to the collectibles guide)

How to unlock costumes:

    * Suit
      How to unlock: Complete mission R-00: Guard Duty on Very Hard difficulty.

    * Skin Standard Body
      How to unlock: Complete the game on Hard or Very Hard difficulty.

    * Mariachi
      How to unlock: Complete mission R-02: Research Facility.

    * Costume MGS4 (metal gear solid 4)
      How to unlock: DLC / Pre-order bonus

    * Costume Gray Fox / Cyborg Ninja
      How to unlock: DLC / Pre-order bonus

    * Custom Skin: Red
      Effect: increases power, decreases defense.
      How to unlock: Complete 30% of the VR missions (refer to the VR mission guide).

    * Custom Skin: Yellow
      Effect: Increases defense, fills the Blade mode bar.
      How to unlock: Complete all VR missions (refer to the VR mission guide).

    * Custom Skin: Blue
      Effect: defense increases, power decreases.
      How to unlock: Complete 50% of the VR missions (refer to the VR mission guide)

How to unlock Raiden's wigs / hairstyles:

    * Blade Mode Wig
      Effect: In Blade mode you will also be slicing armor.
      How to unlock: Complete the campaign on Hard or higher and find all left hands.

    * Infinite Hair A
      Effect: infinite ammo for secondary weapons.
      How to unlock: Complete the campaign on Normal or higher and find 10 left hands

    * Infinite B hair
      Effect: Infinite Blade Mode.
      How to unlock: Complete the campaign on Normal or higher and find 20 left hands.
