During the DC FanDome the first trailer of The Batman, Matt Reeves film that sees actor Robert Pattinson appear as Bruce Wayne / Batman. The trailer, lasting about 2 minutes, shows some interesting scenes related to the film, giving a first interpretation of what this film could tell, apparently unrelated to all the other films and which follows the philosophy of Joker.

The trailer starts immediately showing a crime scene, the police of Gotham, the FBI and Batman: this suggests that the hero is accepted by the city - or rather by the police - but above all that he is also "exploited" for his investigative skills, being the best detective in the world. Finally, it seems that the great enemy of this film will be the Riddler, as question marks are his trademark (even if a couple of henchmen have a mask similar to that of the Joker painted on the face).

In the trailer we can also see a sort of Batcave, the Batmobile and the Batman costume: all three show details very close to the Batman of Earth One, a more "realistic" version of the Dark Knight. In fact, we see how the cave is actually a sort of garage (very large and old), while the Batmobile looks like just a modified car.

In short, the feeling approaches the film about the Joker, where the hero leaves room for a realism pushed as far forward as possible. As for the rest, it seems that some of the mafia characters linked to will also be seen Gotham City, and probably the hero we will see in The Batman will still be a bit immature. Catwoman also appears in the trailer (without a particular jumpsuit, but only with tight clothes and some sort of balaclava), who in this film will probably take her role as hero / villain every other day. In all likelihood, themes such as vigilantism, but above all corruption, one of the rampant plagues of Gotham City, will finally be treated.
