Mass Effect: Some developers of the original trilogy return to BioWare

As you most likely already know, a new game in the saga of Mass Effect is currently in the works, as confirmed by a teaser trailer shown during the recent The Game Awards. We have already seen our dear old beloved Liara T'Soni, an important character of the series, in the latest cryptic trailer that closed the bridge between two galaxies with the message "Mass Effect will continue". Liara has raised many doubts in the minds of fans, with new ideas about where the plot will go. In the past few hours, however, Michael Gamble di BioWare recently confirmed more than good news for veterans of the first trilogy: there will be some faces already seen within the development team of the return era specifically for this project. Through a Tweet it was therefore announced that several people have returned, among which we see:

    • Derek Watts, the original art director of the series.
    • Brenon Holmes, who worked on the entire Mass Effect trilogy, Dragon Age Inquisition and Origins, Andromeda and others dating back as far as Baldur's Gate II. It is a lifelong staple of BioWare and intimately knows all the evolutions this study has undergone.
    • Parish Ley, the film director for the Mass Effect trilogy who is returning specifically to bring his vision back into the new game.
    • Dusty Everman, a reference when it came to bringing the vision of the original Normandy to life in the first Mass Effect game.

With BioWare's future uncertain following the acceptance of Andromeda e Anthem, it is definitely a relief to see some previously known faces return to the world of Mass Effect.
