Mass Effect Legendary Edition will include core single player and DLC content from Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, as well as promotional weapons, armor and packs, all remastered and optimized for 4K Ultra HD. It will be available in Spring 2021 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, with future compatibility and targeted improvements on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. BioWare's Mass Effect series, part of the action role-playing genre, was developed by BioWare and published by Microsoft Games Studios in 2007 for Windows PC and Xbox 360. In December of 2012 the first chapter was also released on PlayStation 3 as part of the Mass Effect Trilogy, under the Electronic Arts label.
