It has been several months since the presence of one was rumored collection dedicated to Mass Effect, at least as regards the consoles currently available on the market. It has been a while since then and currently we have not heard any official news of the project in question, a situation that apparently could change very soon. As we can see Jeff Grubb, a well-known insider and editor of VentureBeat, has posted on his Twitter profile an image that recalls the sci-fi saga of EA and Bioware. The apparent cover in question, which you can find at the bottom of this article, is unfortunately blurry but we can notice some similarities with certain key elements of the franchise.
Within this cover image we can distinguish the logo of Mass Effect, the helmet N7, the colors that identify the alignments of the Commander Sheppard, the silhouette of the terrifying raiders and even the two adventure companions Liara T'Soni e Garrus Vakarian. According to some rumor released in the last few hours, the announcement of a collection dedicated to the series would be scheduled for afternoon of Saturday 7 November 2020. Fans of the saga know the day in question very well, mainly because the so-called is held every year N7 Day.
The Mass Effect saga was one of the most influential of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 generation, through three main video games released in the period between 2007 and 2012. In addition to its medium of birth, the saga originated from the creative minds of Bioware has received several adaptations such as novels, comics, an animated feature film and even a themed Monopoly. The last major release in the series was Mass Effect Andromeda, a 2017 title that did not find a good opinion from both the public and the world critics. The collection in question could therefore be a attempt to restart, as well as letting new generations experience some of the most popular games ever.
