Marvel vs Capcom 4 and Street Fighter 6 could be in the works

Ryan Ramirez, a pro player also known as FChamp, recently released some interesting rumors regarding two future Capcom titles. Let's talk about Marvel vs. Capcom 4 e Street Fighter 6, the latter has already been the subject of more rumors in the past. According to what Ramirez said during a streaming, the Japanese company would in fact be working on both fighting games, however we will have to wait a little longer to see their announcements.

As for Street Fighter 6, Ramirez stated that an announcement was expected this year following an event for the fifth chapter that was supposed to take place during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. After the latter have been postponed, the reveal of the sixth episode had to suffer the same effect. The recent Season 5 would have been made precisely to cope with the failure to announce the sequel. Marvel vs Capcom 4 should instead be in development for some time but production has probably slowed down due to coronavirus and the transition to the next-gen. Speaking of the new generation, Ramirez in this case refers only to one release for PlayStation 5 and not Xbox Series X. This is obviously information to be taken with a grain of salt, as we will have to wait for official details from the Japanese company to be able to confirm everything.
