In Marvel Vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds you can use different alternate costumes for each character. To select them, all you have to do is press one of the following buttons on the character selection screen:

Y, A, X, o RB (Xbox 360)
Triangle, X, Square or R1 (Playstation 3)
