Marvel's Spider-Man Villains: Sinister Six (minus two)

Tomorrow you can read our review of Marvel's Spider-Man on the pages of Resources4Gaming, but for today you'll have to settle for the last remaining enemies to be analyzed of the game coming out on September 7, Marvel's Spider-Man. The Sinister Six are a group of supervillains who have teamed up against Spider-Man: all of them had already been defeated several times by the hero, and for this they opted to join forces trying to defeat him.

Of the current formation we know only 5 of the 6 members: the Scorpio, the Vulture, Electro, Rhino and Mister Negative. Of these, only the first four in the comic were actually part of the group. While waiting to discover the sixth, let's go and see the four remaining.

Scorpio

MacDonald “Mac” Gargan was born to Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, who appeared in issue 20 of The Amazing Spider-Man (1965). Police detective, he underwent a genetic modification treatment funded by J. Jonah Jameson, all to defeat Spider-Man. More powerful than the enemy, during the fight, however, a monster was discovered, and for this reason his goal became to kill Jameson. Spider-Man will continue not to let him, and for this he will become his nemesis.

Mac Gargan later joined the symbiote Venom, after being taken off by Eddie Brock, becoming the new Venom. Like Scorpio, he has superhuman strength, stamina, agility, balance, reflexes and speed, is invulnerable to bullets, can climb, and can control a robotic tail, from which he sprays corrosive acid. He also has claws in his hands.

Vulture

Adrian Toomes, created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko and appeared in issue 2 of The Amazing Spider-Man (1963), is known as the Vulture Super Villain. Electronic engineer, owner of a small company, he was betrayed by his partner and used a particular exoskeleton he was building against him, that of the Vulture. This armor, in addition to allowing him to fly, gives Adrian more strength than that of an ordinary man. Later, suffering from cancer, he will use a machine of his own invention to steal Spider-Man's life energy and rejuvenate (although it will not last long).

Electro

Maxwell “Max” Dillon he first appeared in 1964 on The Amazing Spider-Man 9. To save a colleague from electric cables, Dillon was struck by lightning while clinging to electric cables. The two charges repelled each other, transforming it into Electro, capable of generating and emitting electricity. It can also absorb it and ionize metals of all kinds. Electricity also allows it to infiltrate any electrical object and levitate.

He will be defeated for the first time after a Jameson robbery, and the humiliation will prompt him to keep fighting Spider-Man.
