Over the last few hours Sony e Insomniac Games have released a great deal of information about it Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, the remastered edition for PlayStation 5 of one of the most popular titles on PlayStation 4. The development team has perfected and updated the game in every aspect, both in terms of content and technologies, in order to take advantage of the new resources introduced by PlayStation 5 to enrich the title with new features, including three additional costumes, including the Amazing costume. Also thanks to the performance of the next generation console, the title will be able to offer a higher frame rate in high performance mode, for a gaming experience at 60 fps.
This series of improvements includes, among other things, the reduction of loading times, which will be drastically reduced thanks to SSD technology, the presence of a 3D audio and the technology support of ray-tracing which will improve the visual impact of the title, of which we can have a brief glimpse thanks to the reflections of the glasses and the environmental shadows, increasingly realistic and suggestive present in the gameplay video. In addition to the numerous technical changes, through the short video it is also possible to take a first look at the new face of Peter Parker which, by decision of Insomniac Games, will be played by Ben Jordan in place of John Bubniak.
The new technological possibilities have made it possible to apply shaders to skin, teeth and eyes, and even to draw every single hair, making the protagonists of the story even more alive and expressive. This leads us to talk about the most striking novelty. To ensure the best possible experience for players in the next generation Marvel's Spider-Man series, we've chosen another face for Peter Parker. It was a pleasure to work with John Bubniak in the original game, but for PS5 we turned to Ben Jordan, who we think is best suited to enhance the facial capture sessions performed by actor Yuri Lowenthal. In the game, Ben's features are extraordinary and fully enhance Yuri's movements.
