The new job of the boys of Crystal Dynamics e Square Enix as we all know it is Marvel's Avengers, a title that should have already seen light a month ago, but largely postponed to September. This time the Covid-19 emergency did not affect - or at least apparently - and the postponement was dictated by too short technical processing times given that the game was navigating in a not exactly idyllic situation. Already in the past we at Resources4Gaming have had the opportunity to try the title, through a station with which it was possible to try the only sequence shown and now known by almost everyone, namely that of the attack on the bridge, with the possibility of switching different sessions of game between all playable characters.
The works were still on the high seas and the main problem at the time consisted in the lack of a real identity that could elevate the title and arouse interest in its naked and raw playful form. But removed this aspect, after the series of Batman Arkham and Spider-Man exclusively on PlayStation 4, development studios have shown great expertise in bringing titles centered around our favorite superheroes to our gaming machines, when optimized and thought out properly. Which is why Marvel's Avengers already has a large chunk of attention. We have seen the heroes, we have seen the stylistic nature of the title, but who will be the iconic enemies we should defeat in the game? Let's see them among some certainties and others unearthed by insiders and the like.
Taskmasters
For now, his presence is certain, confirmed by the demo shown where in the final act there will be a violent clash with the Black Widow. Paradoxically, even the recently postponed stand-alone film that was supposed to open Phase 4 at Marvel Studios, Black Widow, will see our heroine collide with him. The peculiarity and strength of this enemy is the possibility of imitating the fighting style of the heroes he meets, which is why even in the comics he has always proved to be a formidable opponent in clashes. We saw the same villain and beat him also in Marvel's Spider-Man on PlayStation 4. It cannot be excluded that his presence in the game could cover much more than the simple prologue, with several hypotheses that would seem to indicate him as the main nemesis.
Modok / Kree
Here we enter the field of speculation given by some insiders who have found what will be the trophies to be unlocked on PlayStation 4, objectives including the classic "defeat Modok". Specifically, Modok has always been a villain with great potential which removed some appearances in animated series, we have never seen in any other alternate version. At the cinema it has not yet found space, while here the possible inclusion would not be so absurd to materialize, and in this case also the presence of the AIM could find an excellent anchor point in Marvel's Avengers to justify many small secondary opponents to defeat. to gain experience. Along with these, i Kree, alien race already introduced with Captain Marvel, although it will be necessary to understand what kind of role they could ever have in this title: will it immediately focus on interplanetary battles?

Another confirmed enemy, enough to show himself for a few seconds in the middle of a fight with Hulk. The two, in fact, will be bitter enemies and this could indicate the presence of a storyline focused on the evolution of Bruce Banner and the relative birth of his nemesis.
