The God of Deception is ready to make his return within the Marvel Cinematic Universe and, over the last few hours, Disney officially revealed the first poster of Loki, the tv series Marvel Studios coming to the streaming platform Disney + who will see him as the protagonist. The debut of the highly anticipated Loki series is not that far off, and after the season finale of WandaVision and the arrival of the first episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, it will be the series starring Tom Hiddleston to arrive on the streaming platform and to officially enter the Fourth Phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The release is scheduled for next theJune 11 2021, and the cast, as well as obviously Tom Hiddleston, sees the presence of Owen Wilson, Sophia di Martino, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Richard E. Grant and Cailey Fleming.
The last time we saw the God of Deception on the big screen was in Avengers: Endgame, where the latter managed to take possession of the Tesseract, and then later escape into a mysterious and unknown alternate reality. In a journey that has no boundaries of time and space, Loki will find himself against VAT, Time Variance Authority, a fictitious organization that monitors various timelines. After the huge success of Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany's WandaVision, Loki would seem to be one of the most anticipated projects by Marvel fans, who can't wait to find out what the future of the God of Evils will be.
We remind you that last January WandaVision officially kicked off the Fourth Phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, an era that is momentarily taking shape only in the catalog of the Disney streaming platform, but which in the future will see the arrival on the small and on the big screen of a large number of superheroes, including some highly anticipated returns, such as the new Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and faces we have not yet got to know, among which we can find Shang-Chi, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight and the new cinematic adaptation of Fantastic 4.
