Level 55 is the highest level that can be reached in multiplayer in Call of Duty Black Ops 3 multiplayer. For an average player, this will take around 24 hours of gameplay, as tested by the Treyarchs themselves.

Depending on your skill, it will therefore take you between 18 and 30 hours to bring your character to the maximum level. If you want speed up the process, the best solution is to play objective game modes, such as Domination, Safeguard and Hardpoint, and constantly aim for the objective of the mode you are playing. It is also advisable to prefer "Ground War" as the lobbies are larger and you will have more opportunities to do more kills.

Regardless of how everyone plays, a great way to earn XP and level up quickly in COD Black OPS 3 is to complete the challenges and unlock accessories, camouflage patterns and reticules for the guns. If you want to be efficient in this regard, equip an optic on your weapon and go headshots to unlock the camouflages. Assault Rifles, SMGs, and LMGs require 100 headshots for their Camos, while Rifles and Sniper Rifles require 100 one-shot kills for their camos.

Each optic instead requires 500 kills with the aim to unlock the various reticles. Each weapon and optic has camos and reticles that can be unlocked beyond these requirements, but are only available after completing these challenges. It is precisely these unlockables "endings" that they earn large amounts of experience points, so it's definitely worth working on over the course of your games. You'll also get a significant XP reward for unlocking Specialist costumes that are obtained simply by killing and using the Specialist's weapons and skills. Then find the specialist you like and go for it to unlock his costume.

Like all games in the COD series, the "boost" between friends is not allowed, the moderators are very vigilant and resetting your rank is just around the corner if you don't play normally.
