In a game like this, experience is certainly everything, so a little help to earn some easy XP doesn't hurt. Here's how to do it

100% Bonus Experience from Path-Shifting moves
To always get 100% bonus from the muted moves quickly press all 3 buttons used in quick time events (sequences in which you have to press certain keys) as soon as the sequence begins without wasting time waiting for it to come out on the screen the correct sequence to perform.

Another way to do this is to wait for the buttons to press to appear on the screen and then immediately pause or open the map. This will give you time to prepare for the correct button which you will then press as soon as you return to the game.
