Justice League: will the Snyder Cut have a sequel? The director speaks

As you well know, last 18 March the long-awaited debut has finally made its official debut Snyder Cut di Justice League, available for viewing in our country exclusively on Sky and Now TV. Although the new adaptation managed to satisfy most fans of the DC Extended Universe (filling the main gaps in Whedon's work), many are wondering (also seen the film's ending) if the Snyder Cut will ever receive a sequel, given that the director's initial plans were planned for two more films.

According to what emerged from a recent interview by Zack Snyder to the microphones of Pop Culture Weekly, the director believes that at the moment there is very little chance of realizing the plans for an eventual Justice League 2 e 3, even if the appreciation from the fans could somehow change the cards on the table at WarnerMedia Studios. We report in detail the words of the director:

There are some hints [about Justice League 2 and 3], but it's more of a teaser of what could have happened. It remains a huge hint of what we wanted to create with the first film. There was a lot to tell in these first four hours, we were able to fit everything we shot. Anyway yeah, I had a much bigger plan for Justice League.

Furthermore, although the plot of JL 2 and JL 3 had been previously unveiled by the director himself, this could take a very different turn if Warner Bros. ever decides to make it canonical. Snyder Cut di Justice Leaguewhile retaining many of the same elements.

Clearly, the fate of the film (and any sequels) remains in the hands of the fans, who could make the US film company change their mind by making this version canonical, rather than the one released by Joss Whedon in 2017. Although hope is the last. to die, he is not of the same opinion Ann Sarnoff, president and CEO of WarnerMedia Studios and Networks Group, which considers the Snyder trilogy over.

I appreciate that they love Zack's work and we are very grateful for his many contributions to DC. We are so happy that he was able to bring his vision of the Justice League to life, as it wasn't in our plans until about a year ago. With that comes the completion of his trilogy. We're very proud of what we've accomplished, but we're also very happy with the plans for all of the multidimensional DC characters that are in development right now.

Looking forward to finding out if ever the Snyder Cut di Justice League will ever receive the long-awaited sequels from fans of the DC Extended Universe, we remind you that the film (lasting a total of 4 hours) is available for viewing in our country exclusively on Sky e Now TV.
