Jared Leto shocked by Warner Bros. choices on his Joker

Jared Leto shocked by Warner Bros. choices on his Joker

The film on Joker continues to record really important numbers than in the rest of the world; in fact, the film seems to have reached 300 million dollars in revenue with continuous positive reviews from users especially as regards the excellent interpretation of the actor Joaquin Phoenix in the role of the protagonist.

However, not everyone seems to appreciate this success. According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, the American actor Jared Leto who played the same role in the film Suicide Squad released in 2016 was amazed that Warner Bros. gave the green light for a new realization of the film entirely dedicated to the anti-hero. In detail, reference is made to a report focused on the involvement of Martin Scorsese within the production of the film where Leto he was simply mentioned for his role a few years ago.

While the whole world has appreciated almost in unison the interpretations of Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger in the role of the Joker, complete with Posthumous Oscar won in 2009 by the second actor, the one made by Jared Leto was, in all likelihood, the worst Joker ever. The blame is obviously not attributable to the ability of the actor who was also good at getting into the part, as for some really questionable choices by Warner Bros. like wanting to pass a character so iconic and multifaceted almost like a gangster full of tattoos in a film that has not even encountered positive opinions either from critics or from the public (unlike the excellent receipts recorded). Particularly Leto was shocked when he realized that the number of scenes shot was much more conspicuous than those shown in the final version of the product.

At the moment it is not known whether Jared Leto will ever have a chance to make up for it, what is certain is that he has not been confirmed as part of the cast of Suicide Squad 2 due out in summer 2021.
