Marvel's Avengers, video game action-adventure developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix, continues to be talked about one month after its release. The title, in the last few hours, has recently caused a real media earthquake for a detail that, if confirmed, could send fans of themarvel universe.
On the dealer's website Base.comin fact, a sentence connected to the title in question read:
Play as Spider-Man, exclusively for PS4!
This sentence, after a few hours, disappeared from the site. Although it is not yet official, it might make sense. Spider-Man is in effect the most popular character in the Marvel universe, and his presence in the nameplate work Crystal Dynamics it would undoubtedly give a considerable boost to sales. Furthermore, Marvel's Spider-Man was full of references to the Avengers, such as the presence in the game map of the Avengers Tower, then in the narrative universe of the title developed by Insomniac Games all the other Marvel superheroes also exist.
Obviously, the character is a 'Sony exclusive (both in the cinema and in the videogame field) and for this reason its presence in the title of Crystal Dynamics it should necessarily be "limited" to PlayStation consoles.
Also, following a question and answer session held on Reddit with members of Crystal Dynamics, more details about the title came up.
Among the most important details, it was specified that the Raid missions they will not be available at launch but will be integrated later from the launch of the title on the market. THE additional charactersmoreover, they will have an importance in the narrative of the work and will not be mere numerical additions. Also, it seems that some themed events for each individual character through various updates, probably on a monthly basis.
We remind you that the title will be available from the next 4 September 2020 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Stadia and PC, to then arrive later also on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X at the launch of the consoles, scheduled for the end of 2020. Players who own the game for the current generation of consoles will be able to switch to the version improved at no additional cost, both when upgrading from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, and from Xbox One to Xbox Series X.
