Indiana Jones 5: that's when the last chapter of the saga will be released!

Indiana Jones 5 will see Harrison Ford return to play the famous character in the film that will mark the end of the series. According to what emerged from theInvestor Day 2020 di The Walt Disney Company, the film will be directed by James Mangold, who previously worked at Logan and Ford v Ferrari, e is expected to debut in theaters in July 2022. Definitely a bittersweet announcement, since in addition to revealing the launch window of the film, it has been confirmed that the fifth chapter of the famous franchise will be the last in which we will see the character of Henry Walton Jones Jr. played by Harrison Ford. We report below the words of Frank Marshall, producer of the film, to the microphones of Geek:

There will only ever be one Indiana Jones, and that's Harrison Ford. What excites me about Mangold is his talent as a storyteller. I think he did a great job in Ford Vs Ferrari, he brought out all his qualities. He loves characters that are incredible and have great stories to tell, so I can't wait to see what he comes up with. At the moment I can't tell you more, as I haven't seen the script yet.

Lucasfilm is in pre-production for the next episode of Indiana Jones. At the helm is James @ Mang0ld, director of Ford v Ferrari, and Indy himself, Harrison Ford, will return to continue his iconic character's journey. The adventure will arrive in July 2022.
