How to unlock all characters

The Dragon Ball Z Battle of Z roster has 75 characters. Of these, 3 are exclusive to various DLCs related to the pre-order of the game, and another 5 are bosses for which it is still unclear if they will ever become playable.

As you progress through the game's story, you will unlock one or more characters for each completed mission. Refer to the complete solution to finish the game and then unlock all the characters of the various sagas Sayan, Freiza, Cell and Majin Buu. After completing them you will unlock extra missions to play. If you complete these missions with an "A" or "S" rating, you will unlock the most coveted and powerful characters in the game.

Adult Gohan (Super Saiyan): Complete Mission 32 with an "S" rank or higher.
Android #18: Complete Mission 23 with an "A" rank or higher.
Android #19: Complete Mission 22 with an "A" rank or higher.
Bardock: Complete Mission 44 with an "A" rank or higher.
Burter: Complete Mission 13 with an "A" rank or higher.
Cell (First Form): Complete Mission 24 with an "A" rank or higher.
