Samsung's Galaxy S5 has a fantastic HD display, but have you ever wondered how you can share this experience with your friends and family? If you are looking to show off the screen and amazing features of your smartphone, you can easily show them by taking a screenshot on your device.

If you play with your Galaxy S5, you might want to brag about your high scores, but what if others don't believe you? Well, there is no need to worry as we will show you how you can take a screenshot on your Galaxy S5 to capture anything on your smartphone.

One of the great things about Android is that it's a hidden screenshot feature. Some users are unaware of this, but the method is pretty standard. However, Samsung's Galaxy S5 comes with another unique technique for taking a screenshot without even touching the phone!

Read on to find out how to take a screenshot on the Samsung Galaxy S5.

This is probably the most common and reliable method of taking a screenshot on all Android devices. This feature is pre-loaded on Android smartphones and tablets. You don't need to install any third party applications and you don't need to learn all the tricks to use this method. It's as simple as pressing two buttons.

    Method 1: key combination

    Phase 1

Navigate to the screen you want to capture on your phone. For example, if you want to capture an image of a website, visit the website in your browser.

    Phase 2

Press and hold the Power button and the Home button at the same time until you hear a camera shutter sound and get a notification. This is difficult, especially on a large device like the Galaxy S5, because you need to hold the two keys at the same time and not one after the other.

    Phase 3

Once the screenshot is taken, you can view it by pulling down the notification bar or from your Photo Gallery. That's all!

    Method 2: hand gesture

    Phase 1

Open your Settings app, swipe to the Motion tab and tap Motion & Gestures.

    Phase 2

Touch the magnetic switch to catch and turn the switch from OFF to ON.

    Phase 3

Go to the screen you want to capture.

    Phase 4

Hold the edge of your hand on one side of the phone without touching it, and slide to the other side. You can do this either from left to right or from right to left. This requires you to take a screenshot.

    Phase 5

View your screenshot through your notification bar or from the Gallery app. That's all!
